Is a real cabin worth it over a $310 tent?

The SereneLife is a folding tent. SereneLife lists it at 37.8 inches tall, with a neck zipper and a top hole cover, and you sit on a folding chair inside it.

The Solara is a 63-inch, 100% Canadian Hemlock cabin. You sit all the way inside, behind a reflective glass door, and the heat stays around you.

It also runs hotter. The Solara heats up to 158°F. SereneLife lists 140°F as the maximum.

And it is still simple to own. It plugs into a standard 110V outlet and assembles in under 30 minutes.

One folds into a closet. The other is a sauna you build into your routine.

What does the red light actually add?

Most portable saunas give you heat. The Solara gives you heat and light in the same session.

A medical-grade 660nm red and 850nm near infrared panel is built right into the cabin. 60 LEDs deliver up to 192 mW/cm² of irradiance.

SereneLife does not publish any red light feature for this model. Its manual describes far infrared only. The Solara covers near, mid and far infrared.
