These are both real traditional outdoor saunas, and they are built for completely different households. The Dundalk Canadian Timber Luna seats up to four, weighs 1,526 lb, runs a 6 kW heater and lists at $6,840. The SaunaBox Forge is a one-person cabin at $4,990 with a 3.5 kW Harvia heater reaching 220 °F. If you need four seats, the Forge is not your sauna at any price. If you are heating one person, the Forge costs $1,850 less and weighs roughly a third as much. One practical note: the Luna is currently listed as sold out and available for pre-order only.
This is the first comparison in this series that is traditional against traditional — both are wood-fired-style electric Finnish saunas that heat air to serious temperatures, not infrared cabins. That makes most of the infrared specification rows meaningless here. What matters instead is capacity, heater output, what the cabin weighs on your ground, how long it takes to get hot, and how long you will wait to receive it.

The Luna seats up to four people. The Forge seats one. A $1,850 price gap between a four-person cabin and a one-person cabin is not a value argument, and anyone telling you it is has skipped the only row that decides the purchase.
So the honest framing is this: if you host, if you have a family that saunas together, or if you want two people in there at once, buy the Luna or something like it. The rest of this page is for the person who is heating themselves, alone, and is deciding how much cabin that should cost.
Maximum temperature. The Luna is sold with a 6 kW heater and a roughly 275 cubic foot cabin, but Dundalk does not publish the temperature the room actually reaches. For a traditional sauna that is the headline number.
Heat-up time. Also unpublished. The Forge publishes 170 °F in about 25 minutes and 220 °F in about 40 minutes from cold. Whether you use a sauna on a weekday is largely decided by that figure.

A 1,526 lb cabin is a groundwork decision. It generally wants a proper pad, a level compacted base and, depending on your ground, a slab. A 600 lb cabin is a much smaller civil engineering problem, and on many sites it is the difference between a weekend job and a contractor.
Neither company includes site preparation, and neither publishes a required base specification, so budget for it separately on either product. But the gap between the two is 926 lb and that is a real cost difference before the sauna is even switched on.
Warranty. Dundalk's own Canadian Timber terms are three years against our one. One retailer advertises ten years plus two years of manufacturer coverage, which we cannot verify against Dundalk's own published terms — so we quote three and flag the conflict. On either figure, Dundalk covers longer.
Heater output. 6 kW against 3.5 kW. That is the correct engineering choice for a cabin roughly four times the interior volume, so it is not a fair head-to-head on power — but if raw heater size is the number you are shopping on, Dundalk's is bigger.
